Scones

The Cream Tea Co scones are made by hand and to order especially for you using the following ingredients:

Plain Flour - Wheat Flour (with Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Wheat Gluten and Amylase

Baking Powder - Gluten Free, Raising agents E450 (diphoshates), E500 (sodium carbonates), maize starch. may contain milk

Sugar - Castor sugar, contains salt due to the presence of naturally occurring Sodium

Butter - Milk, Salt, Sea Salt

Milk 

Yoghurt

Chocolate chunks

Clotted Cream

The clotted cream supplied is Rodda's made in Cornwall using the following ingredients:

A range of suppliers are used for the Jam due to logistical reasons but they all contain:

Fruit - strawberries or other fruits available

Also available - Coffee and Hot Chocolate

Strawberries

Strawberries are used as a garnish in each Box but they can be eaten.

They are always fresh and taste will vary depending on the season.

Other fruits may be used.

Any of the above products may be substituted at any time for a suitable alternative.

Deliveries

Deliveries are made following these terms. with the orders being received by midnight on the day prior to baking, for example, order on Monday and the Box will be made on the Tuesday for despatch on that day (unless you have chosen another date in the future for delivery): 

We offer FREE delivery on the day of baking to the following areas:

Crawley, Horsham, Horley, East Grinstead, Redhill, Dorking, Haywards Heath, Billingshurst, being a 10-mile radius of Crawley plus Croydon, Redhill, Reigate, Sutton are included - if in doubt please send us a message and find out where your area is.

We offer PAID delivery on the same day of baking to the following areas:

Brighton, Worthing, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Steyning and locations along the M23 corridor.

The cost of this delivery is £7.00

Deliveries are Monday to Saturday – we do not deliver on Sundays (unless by special arrangement). Any orders received on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday.

We offer PAID delivery to all other areas not named in the above listings but delivery will be made using a 3rd party next day courier service.

Delivery to all other areas is by the next day courier at a cost of £7.00 per Box of 4 scones. Orders for this type of delivery can only be accepted Monday to Thursday. An example is orders received on Monday will be processed on Monday and will be delivered on Tuesday on the next day courier service. Orders received on Friday to Sunday will be processed on Monday to be received on Tuesday. Deliveries cannot be guaranteed if you want the Box to arrive on a particular date but we do expect the Box to arrive as requested. 

If you wish delivery on a particular day, please enter this in the notes, remembering the details above.

All orders are baked and packed on the day of despatch. FREE Deliveries are made after 12noon Monday to Saturday. Orders must be received by midnight on the day before to go out the next day. Any orders made on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the Monday following. 

If you wish your Cream Tea Box to be delivered on a certain date, please let us know.

Please ensure someone will be available to accept delivery on your Cream Tea Box as if delivery cannot be made, a re-delivery charge of £2.95 will be made if the Box cannot be left at the property.

We do not run a same day service unless we have a cancelled order or we over bake.

RETURNS

As we are a small artisan bakery we are only able to accept returns if there is something wrong with the products within the Cream Tea Box. All produce within the Cream Tea Box are quality checked before being delivered.

You may cancel your order if the cancellation is received in writing by 9.00am as the scones are baked on the morning of delivery. Unfortunately for this reason, there will be a cancellation fee of £3.95 if after this time, to go towards the cost of the scones made.

A full refund is offered on cancellations before 9.00am on the day of delivery and a part refund less the cancellation fee for those after the cut off time.
